Mission statement

Tokomairiro High School is a small co-educational secondary school serving Milton and the Wider community in South Otago. We have high standards and expectations of our students to reach their potential in all aspects of school life.

Our Mission statement and values are deep rooted and form the basis of all that we do. "Working together to inspire excellence in education, in character and in life." when combined with our school values of Respect, Responsibility and Excellence gives us clear direction in how we conduct ourselves.

Excellent outcomes for students are achieved by promoting the highest standards in teaching, learning and behaviour. We are a small school with big dreams and the desire and determination to achieve these dreams.

A close partnership exists between the school, parents and the community who work to develop students for life and work beyond the school. Ultimately developing adults with the skills and opportunities to succeed in our global community.
